Fighting like cats and dogs. Imagine if a mouse walked by!

Our puppy and our cat do actually like each other, and sometimes they express that by fighting a lot! No animals were harmed in the making of this video I promise, but it was entertaining to watch.😁

As much as they enjoy fighting with each other sometimes, I imagine if a mouse walked by they would both leave each other alone and team up on the mouse. I think they would both focus on the real “battle.”

And that’s a great reminder for us all. It’s easy to get caught up in temporary battles that don’t really matter in the end, but the real enemy, the devil, hates Jesus and anyone who follows Jesus. Christians should be fighting FOR each other, not against each other. And we should be working for everyone to have a chance to experience the love of Jesus in their lives.

1 Timothy 6:12 tells us to “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

Ephesians 6:12 points to the real enemy, the real battle: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.“

When we stop fighting for good and truth and start fighting each other, the devil can probably sit back and relax. Let’s focus on the real fight today and every day.
