So we had to trim our Australian Shepherd puppy’s nails the other day, and she did not like it! After three of us helped to get the job done and set the nail clippers down, Cleo found them and did her best to hide them! She did grab them and face her fears head on (pun intended!).
John 16:33 says, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Jesus never guaranteed an easy life for Christians. He knew His followers would face difficult and scary times. But He also knew the victory He would win on the cross.
We can face our fears when we know they’ve been defeated.
