While in a CVS recently, the girls figured out a new way to race with plungers! I don’t really think it’ll catch on. Probably about the worst way to pogo stick, and it wouldn’t be a very effective way to plunge a toilet either!
Have you ever felt like your own prayer life was just about that frustrating? What can we do when prayer doesn’t seem to be working right no matter how hard we work at it?
Colossians 4:2 gives a great strategy to get us started: “Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;”
We should pray often, taking our needs to our Creator, then watch for His answers, and then constantly thank Him for all the good things we see Him do for us. That will make us want to pray more and to eagerly watch for more answers to prayer, which will give us even more things to be thankful for. That’s a cycle that can spiral into a better and better prayer life filled with more and more thanksgiving all year long!
