Give me 1 good reason why we should eat popsicles for dinner 😏
“Because they taste good!” What do you think: Is that a good enough reason? Well we did have some “real food” AND popsicles for dinner! Sometimes the simple things, the special things, should be enough of a reason to do something.
In Luke 19, Jesus sent a couple of His disciples to get Him a donkey to ride into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. Verses 32-34 say, “And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. 33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? 34 And they said, The Lord hath need of him.”
Would that have been a good enough reason for you? With everything I know about Jesus, He probably either had the donkey returned (in better condition than He got it) or compensated the man in some other amazing way. But “The Lord hath need if him” should be enough reason for any of us to give to Jesus anything He asks for.
