Have you ever faced a situation that was a real head-scratcher? Some things make no sense, and others require us to wait a while for an answer. It’s often what we do while we’re confused that makes the difference between growing and shrinking, between moving forward and going back.
John 13:7 says, “Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.” Jesus did some things that the disciples didn’t understand until later. Those were great opportunities to trust.
There will be times in each of our lives when Jesus allows something we won’t understand until later. Possibly years later.
What we do in between what happened and understanding why—in that trusting time—determines a lot.
