We didn’t plant all of those sunflowers…at least not this year and not right where they all grew. My wife loves what we call “volunteer plants” that come up on their own from randomly dropped or old seeds. When seeds hit the ground it’s fun to watch what’ll grow.
Ecclesiastes 11:6 says, “In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.”
Maybe you constantly share your faith or invite people to church and it doesn’t seem like it’s working. Maybe you always try to love people in Jesus’ name and they don’t respond. Keep on throwing out those seeds and watch what eventually grows. It may be where you least expect it and when you weren’t even looking for it.
