More than enough

Anyone else love a lot of parmesan cheese at Olive Garden? I think anytime we go the server gets an arm workout piling the cheese on for Jen. But this time it was different. This time the waiter accidentally left the cheese grater at the table and Jen had free access! She had some fun kind of sneaking it, but she did show the waiter who thought it was funny.

We don’t need to sneak some sort of favor from God. We have access directly to Him as our loving heavenly Father.

Romans 5:1-2 says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

That’s like an all-access pass to come to God in prayer and to know we have His grace, His help all day every day.

In fact, Psalms 68:19 describes God as the one “who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.”

And 2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”

Let’s not settle for a few crumbs but instead come to God for all the help we need to live for Him.
