Some things aren’t meant to end

“How’d the week go so fast” and “I don’t wanna leave!” were comments I heard as we left teen camp Saturday morning. It was a great week, and I’m so thankful that God works in teens’ (and adults’) lives even after camp, a revival, or a church service ends.

2 Timothy 3:14 says, “But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;” CONTINUE might be the best word in that verse! It’s wonderful to make a decision for Jesus and to grow in our faith at a camp or another service or event, but it’s even better to continue in those things. When you wanna quit or the influences around try to convince you to quit, continue to do the top priorities, the things that matter most.

And if you’ve drifted away from God lately (or even for the past couple decades), it’s not too late to run back to Him.

The week of camp might have ended, but that doesn’t mean God’s done working in these teens’ lives. The service where you made a big decision for God might be long gone, but God’s still real, still working in your life. Continue for God.
