We need the right tools for the job

So maybe a pole saw isn’t the best tool for cutting pizza after all! No, I didn’t actually try it, but I was carrying the saw through the kitchen, so we had to get a picture! All tools are useful, but specific jobs require specific tools. Thankfully, God loves to provide just what we need just when we need it.

Exodus 16:14-15 says, “And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. 15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.”

The Israelites were following God through a wilderness and needed food to be able to keep going. And God gave them supernatural food (not sure exactly what manna was like, but my favorite theory is that just maybe it tasted like Krispy Kreme donuts! Might be a wishful thinking, but I’m going with it!😏). If we’re willing to step up and follow God, He will provide us with everything we need to keep going.

There’s no help like God’s help! No one can provide for our needs like He can. As we go through this journey called life with Him, let’s ask Him for help and look for the help He will provide.

Whether it’s food, friends, financial help, rest, resources, or anything else, God loves to provide just the right tools we need for the job of serving and following Him.
