We’ve had a wonderful vacation so far and had a great time at the beach. I do find it a little ironic that people often try to escape the repetition and monotony of daily by coming to the beach and enjoying the repetition and monotony of waves crashing! I guess routine is enjoyable as long as it’s the right stuff happening over and over again.
1 Corinthians 4:2 says, “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” Life may not always be dramatic or exciting, but it can always be purpose-filled, meaningful, and worthwhile if we faithfully, day-in-and-day-out serve Jesus. In fact anything we do for Jesus is all of those things…all day every day!
