Time-Lapse: Sometimes the Sunrise Fades Just Before Dawn

I like to use sunrise pictures to illustrate hope, beauty, and m God’s goodness, but this time the sunrise quickly disappeared! But the good news is the sunrise disappeared because brighter light was coming!

Psalms 30:5 reminds us that “weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Even if “night” lasts for weeks or months, morning is still coming, and the end of the verse is still true! And with God, we can have joy even during the darkest nights.

Years ago, I heard Christian comedian Mark Lowry say that his favorite verse is, “It came to pass” NOT TO STAY! That phrase is repeated many times in the Bible during different circumstances. Even if it seems like your world is getting darker, dawn may be just around the corner. God’s not done working, and He’s not done with your story.
