When we open stocking stuffers, they’re great, but even better things are coming when we get to the bigger presents! In John 10:10 Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” I’m so glad He came to earth! I think I’d have wanted to stay in heaven! But Jesus willingly left heaven for us, died for us, rose again and offers salvation to us all. And if we’ve trusted Him as our Savior, He’s begun a permanent relationship with us and given us a lot of blessings right now. But as great as life with Jesus is now, the best is yet to come! The good things we enjoy right now are like a stocking stuffer as we wait for the real gift: all of eternity with Jesus in heaven!
