Throw It Against the Wall and See What Sticks? There Has to Be a Better Way!

The girls don’t normally throw food, but when they do, it’s fun to see what sticks! I’d never tested spaghetti this way, but it was kinda fun. It’s also kinda scary when this same sort of test is used for more important stuff.

Romans 1:20 says, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.” The Bible never changes and always clearly shows that God is the Creator, but the theory of evolution bounces from one theory to another, often without even considering the possibility of God’s involvement. No matter how much evidence points to God, evolutionists keep coming up with wild guesses about what MIGHT have happened. These changing theories remind me of throwing a bunch of ideas against a wall and seeing what sticks…until it all eventually gets proven wrong by science.

It can be hard to know what’s true, but here’s a simple test: Charles Darwin said what it would take for him to reject evolution: “If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed, which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down.”

I can’t dive too deep into all of the science here, but if you look at what biochemist Dr. Michael Behe and others call irreducible complexity, it becomes pretty clear that many things like bacterial flagellum (basically the movable tails of germs—Google a diagram: it looks like a motor!) and the blood-clotting system of our bodies fit what Darwin said would disprove evolution. In other words, science has developed enough to show us that the universe and life did not evolve but must have a Creator. And that’s great news!

You aren’t an accident! Your life isn’t random, meaningless, or a mistake. You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God Who loves you and wants what’s best for you.
