Have you ever heard that saying? Do you believe it? Beautiful sunrise this morning, but I’m not sure if that always means rain is coming. We’ll see! Even if we can’t always correctly predict the weather, we do know the One Who has the clouds under His control.
Psalms 147:8 says that God is the One “Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.” Things get uncertain and scary sometimes, and I don’t always understand why God allows everything He does. But we can trust that He has a perfect plan, and we can trust Him to hold onto us whether we can see what’s coming or not. I love the saying, “I don’t know what the future holds but I know Who holds the future.” The less certain the future, the more we should get close to the One Who’s got it all under His control.
