A week of VBS prep, lots of sunburn and sweat, 1 parade float, dozens of workers (2 who sweltered inside those costumes while happily waving during a parade), many faces painted and a hundred other jobs done, all with 1 goal: Invite kids and teens to Vacation Bible School so that they can learn more about Jesus and see Him change their lives! It’s been a great week with hard work from a lot of people, and I know everyone would agree: It’s worth it!
Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Even at your worst, you were worth it to Jesus! Even on your worst day, He loves you and you are worth it to Him.
One more encouragement for your day: 1 Corinthians 15:58 says that “your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” Everything you do for God is WORTH IT!
