The Sun Will Come Out…Right When We Need It To!

Sometimes the sun doesn’t come out until tomorrow like Little Orphan Annie sang, but sometimes God stops the rain even sooner. It rained a ton all last week, but not one drop came down during our VBS each evening! We are thanking and praising God for His goodness to us!

Psalms 150 says a lot about praising God. It tells us to “Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness” and sums it up in verse 6 with “Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.”

Everyone everywhere should praise God with everything we’ve got. If you’re wondering why, take some time to think of everything He’s done for you.

That means we should praise God everywhere…even when we aren’t where we’d like to be.

It also means we should praise God any time…even during hard times. Remember that God is good all the time (and all the time God is good!) and that God is always “up to something” good.

Psalms 33:1 says that “praise is comely for the upright.” In other words, praise looks good on a Christian. It’s what we’re supposed to be doing. So whether today brings rain or sun, let’s praise God for everything He’s done!
