You’re never too old for legos (especially if you’re a parent or a youth pastor…or both!). We built several towers this morning and talked through a great Bible truth as well: Whether you’re building a block tower or your life, a strong base matters!
1 Corinthians 3:11 says, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” We built the thin tower which fell IMMEDIATELY once Addison took her finger off the top. Then, we took some time building a strong foundation for the second tower and then built the EXACT SAME thin tower on top. This time, it stood up just fine because it had the right base.
Is Jesus the foundation of your life? Your relationships? Your future plans? Your hopes and dreams?
The next verses in 1 Corinthians 3 challenge us to invest in things that will last. Are you living for things that are temporary or eternal?
