Sometimes it takes me a bit to find the hidden number on these things, but I made this one pretty OBVIOUS! There are also 3 3s if you wanna try to find them too.
It’s ok if you take a while to find hidden numbers, but it’s sad when we don’t take time to notice obvious things right in front of us. Jesus’ love for you and me is obvious. He died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins and mine. He’s God, perfect, and yet willingly allowed Himself to be put to death as a criminal for you and me.
When Jesus was crucified, a leader named Pilate issued the “death sentence.” While talking with Jesus about His supposed “crimes,” there were some things Pilate should have noticed. In John 18:37-38, Jesus tells Pilate, “For this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” Pilate skeptically asks, “What is truth?” It was obvious to Pilate that Jesus wasn’t a criminal and didn’t deserve death, but the source of all truth was standing right in front of him, and if Pilate had taken the time to learn Who Jesus is, it would have become clear that Jesus is God.
After Jesus died on the cross, it became obvious that Pilate hadn’t even paid much attention to the crucifixion. Mark 15:44 says, “And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.” On that day, Jesus died not only to pay the price for Pilate’s sins but for your sins and mine. We each have the opportunity to place our trust in Him as Savior. Are you paying any more attention to Jesus’ death than Pilate did?
Jesus didn’t stay dead! He rose again. I wonder how Pilate responded to that news! I love the testimony of former skeptics like Lee Strobel who trusted in Jesus after studying the evidence for the resurrection. Jesus is the truth and wants to be your Savior! He’s made His love more obvious than the 6 in that puzzle! If you are already a Christian, is your love for Him obvious to people around you?
