Snowpocalypse...Well, Sort of!

1 day apart! Are you enjoying the snow or ready for summer? Feel free to vote in the comments.

I was hoping for snow. Now I’m enjoying what I hoped for. Romans 8:24-25 says, “For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.” We weren’t guaranteed snow this winter, but we are guaranteed eternal life in heaven if we accept Jesus as our Savior. That heavenly hope is able to carry us through whatever earth brings our way. If you’ve never experienced that hope, I’d love to share with you how you can!

And whether your life looks hopeful or discouraging (or somewhere in between) right now, God gives us so much to hope for. Psalms 27:13 is a verse that’s meant a lot to me recently: “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” I don’t know what the goodness of the Lord will look like in your life today or in the near future, but I know you don’t want to miss it! Keep hoping. Keep moving forward for Him and WITH HIM! And if there’s any part of your life that you’re keeping for yourself, give it to God so that you can enjoy all that He has for you to hope for and experience.

Some Extra Bible Reading I Try to Do Each Day

Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LordThere were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous. Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lordis his refuge. Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
