PEEPS JOUSTING!

What you thought was just a marshmallow treat at Easter is also a jousting warrior! Well, sort of. Jen introduced me to this fun idea: jab toothpicks into a couple peeps, aim them at each other, microwave them (we did 30 seconds), and see which one “stabs” the other one first as they grow. Even peeps can be used in some cool ways by someone who knows what they’re doing.
We may not feel special or think we have much to offer God, but He loves to take our little and do big, unexpected things when we are willing  (and I guarantee God has bigger plans for your life than marshmallow “jousting”!).

John 6:9 says, “There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” Verses 10-11 tell what Jesus did with the little lunch that boy willingly offered: “And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.”

Imagine if the boy didn’t give his lunch. Imagine if he thought it was too small, too insignificant or worthless, something Jesus could NEVER use to do anything great. The lad would’ve missed out on an amazing opportunity.

Maybe you think God could NEVER use you or that what you do for God isn’t important, but you stay willing, keep allowing God to use whatever He’s given you, and God will use you in some amazing ways. If there’s a fun, extra purpose for something as simple as marshmallow peeps, imagine what Jesus will do with your life, your talent, your time if you’ll let Him!
