Can God bless what you are doing?

We have the privilege of being at Grace Bible Camp in Goshen, VA, this week as I speak to a great group of kids! I hope and pray they will choose to live lives God can bless.

For all of us, it makes no sense to live our own way and still expect God to bless us. He’s incredibly merciful, but God won’t bless our sinful or selfish lifestyles.

Deuteronomy 2:15 says, “For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.”

Instead of following God’s plan, that generation of Israelites forty years earlier disobeyed and lost out on God’s blessing.

But everything was different when they moved forward with God. Deuteronomy 2:25 says, “This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.”

When we follow God, He either fights our battles for us before we even get there or fights them with us if we have a lesson to learn in the fight.

Let’s follow God and live lives that He will be eager to bless.

Today’s Bible reading is Deuteronomy 2.
