Good advice for those working on airplanes and good advice for all of us! 

Before you move forward, STOP!

Jen spotted this sign as we boarded the plane this morning, and I think it’s spot on! 

Numbers‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭says, “Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him. And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.”

The tribe of Levi would be spiritual leaders who would serve at the tabernacle and then the temple. 

So God was setting spiritual things in order here even before the first military battle. 

Similarly, we need to make sure we are ready spiritually to move forward. Is our relationship with God right? Any sin we need to confess?

How are our priorities? Why do we want to move forward? Which direction are we headed? 

I think we often need to Stop. Think. Observe. Proceed.
